Calvary has a heart for missions and is burdened by the millions of people that are lost. AIM exists to support the spreading of the Gospel to the whole world through Seeking, Serving, and Sending.
AIM seeks the needs of the lost and the missionaries we support, it serves missionaries in any and every way we can so that they can accomplish the mission, and it sends new missionaries out and helps our current missionaries. AIM is organized into 3 different teams in order to best accomplish this.
AIM Long exists to support the missionaries and mission agencies that we as a church body support. We do this through prayer and communication with them, as well as the monthly financial support the church provides. We also interview missionary candidates that approach us for new support. Finally, our goal is to bring awareness to the church body of the work that God is doing throughout the world, because of those that we at Calvary have sent as well as those that we support.
AIM Short exists to expose people to, and support those that are interested in, short term mission work. We do this through prayer and communication with them, as well as financial support. We also interview short term missionary candidates that approach us. Finally, our goal is to bring awareness to the church body of how they can be involved in the important privilege of supporting people around the world through short term mission trips.
AIM Local exists to support the local agencies such as Apple Pregnancy Center and the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. We do this through prayer, financial support, and helping them with local activities. We also try to encourage the church body to get involved in other mission opportunities at the local level. This could include serving a neighbor by shoveling or taking them a meal, volunteering at the Community Table, and much more!
