Hi,
My name is Melinda Rieland. I am really happy to call Calvary my church home since 2001. I moved to Eau Claire from Morris, IL in 2000 to go to the University for Music Education. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 2003. I am currently the Director of Children's Ministry at Calvary with the following responsibilities:
- Oversee Adventure Mountain (during educational hour)
- Oversee DiscoverLand (during church service)
- Work with the nursery coordinator to oversee nursery for Sunday morning activities.
- Provide support to teachers, helpers, and volunteers in the above ministries.
- Designate a Christmas Program Director
Since I took this position in June 2008, I have really enjoyed working with everyone to connect children to God.
Here is a little bit about my family, my husband, John, and I met at Calvary. The latest addition to our family is our son. I love to see God through him every day. Besides taking care of our son, I enjoy exercising, playing trumpet and piano, traveling, reading, and being outside when it is warm out.
