  • Marlene Cripe – Admitted to the hospital due to a severe infection. 

  • Michaela Wensink Has a painful extra bone on her ulna. Scheduled for surgery to remove it on August 29. Pray for comfort as she waits, a successful procedure, and a smooth recovery.

  • Steve (Erin Gaurkee’s boss) – Struggling with vertigo. Pray for relief, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment.

  • Please pray for the Wensinks family as they grieve the passing of Chris Wensinks’ grandmother. May the Lord bring them comfort, peace, and strength in this time of loss. 

  • Midwest Bible Camp – Mike Perz recently led a team of volunteers to assist with renovations at the camp. This summer, the camp has reached full capacity for all weeks and is rejoicing over 26 children who have committed to follow Jesus. We give glory to God for this fruitful season and share in the joy of partnering with the Midwest Bible Camp.

  • Pray for the students that are going to the Snowbird Camp.

  • Please pray for the upcoming Harvest Festival this Fall. The planning committee will begin meeting next week. Pray for wisdom, unity, and creativity as they prepare an event focused on fellowship and outreach.

ON GOING REQUESTS

  • Continue to pray for your "One." Pray that God would work in their life and soften their heart. Pray for God to provide an open door for you to have a Gospel conversation with your "One." As God opens the door of opportunity, pray for boldness and courage for yourself as you step through the door. Remember, you go in the strength of the Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Pray that volunteers will sign up to serve at this summer's One Fest.
  • Marileide, Alexei's mother, is recovering from recent surgery and will soon begin radiotherapy for her Pancreatic cancer.
  • Su Aberle, Josh Aberle’s mother, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma just before Christmas. Also pray for her husband Mike and the family during this time.
  • Laura Thorp has several medical appointments for further evaluations and assessments at Mayo Rochester. Pray for wisdom and clarity for the medical team.
  • Diana, Edith Eckwright's niece, is doing radiation to treat pancreatic cancer.
  • Tim, Corey Moneyhan's friend from Texas, has cancer in an advanced stage.
  • Nelson Stutzman, Shawn Stutzman's dad, started treatment for leukemia.
  • Pray for Elaine Geissler's granddaughter, who suffers from mental issues and doesn't know Jesus. Pray for her mental health and salvation.
  • Pray for continued wisdom to know what steps Tom & Tina should take next for Emily Engstrom's health. For more updates, visit her CaringBridge.
  • Please pray for Sali Bluse's Family, as a member has been diagnosed with a debilitating disease, and that the family would be strengthened as they walk through it and this nephew would heal completely.

MISSIONS

Bruce Britten - retired Swaziland/Eswatini (TEAM)  - Bruce passed away on June 10.  Please pray for the family as they grieve another loss in a short time (Carol passed away in March). 
 Steve and Debbie Nutzmann - Uganda, Africa (Global Outreach) -  The shipping container with our machines has arrived in Uganda!  It is still being held in customs.  It could take a while until they figure out how much they want to charge us for taxes.  Please continue to pray over this matter.  Ronnie and Stella are now Global Outreach missionaries.  Pray as they raise support.
·  Travis & Paula Barton - WI/South Texas/Mexico (More Rejoicing Ministries)-  Pray for trip to the border - safety, sowing encouragement to workers, and sharing the truth.  Continued prayer for men and women from the rehab centers especially for protection for a man that will soon be released and is a new believer.  Pray for the flock in Cumberland and the opportunities we have to speak God's truth.  We are considering having a Spanish conference in late summer.  Pray as much would need to be prepared quickly.  Pray seasonal workers will return to fellowship and that we make new friendships.  Pray for the drug mission and Joe and his family. 
·  Marty and Denise Shaw - Vice President of International Ministries (WorldVenture) -   Marty's mom passed into the presence of the Lord on June 26 at age 92.  She lived with them for the past 7 years.  Her life was lived for others, and right up until the end she shared Christ with those around her.  Pray for Marty and Denise and family during this time.

·  Midwest Bible Camp (Watertown, SD) (UPDATE) - We give God the glory for the 26 children who made commitments to follow Jesus.  We were filled to capacity both weeks.  Pray as Chandler follows up with the girls that attended camp and as Brad does the same with the boys.  Please pray for our students, faculty, and staff in the Philippines as they respond to God's call, trusting Him for wisdom and provision.  (see letter)

·  Ben and Danielle Colbenson (River Falls, Navigators) -  Pray as they return from sabbatical/paternity leave.
·  Aaron and Heather Jones (Twin Cities, CRU Global)-  Pray for two new believers in the Middle East.  Pray the Lord would protect and strengthen their young faith! 
·  Dave Johnson - Madison (CRU - Faculty Commons) - Praising • Seeing a math professor come to faith and enjoying meeting with him for discipleship. • Three faculty groups wanted to continue meeting over the summer. • Having a Mechanical Engineering prof share how he introduces himself the first day of class at our Cru Vision Night.  • A Chinese professor who is fascinated at the peace he feels when around Christians and who is getting closer and closer to embracing Jesus. • A staff team that is catching the vision for the power and influence of Christian professors and who want to work with me in utilizing that potential in the lives of students on campus.  Trusting • For wisdom to maximize the summer months in meeting and discipling more professors. • That our Noon Lunches on the Terrace would be widely attended. • That our faculty picnic potlucks would be used by God to build deeper friendships among faculty and families • That I can continue to have faculty over to my home for dinner or other connection events. 
 ·  Alex and Taryn Bell - Madison (CRU) - Praise for 161 that received Christ during Spring Break Trip.  Pray as they grow in the Lord. Our summer assignment is to raise support! Pray God will meet all our needs!  Our Biannual staff conference in July, pray for renewed vision.  We have 2 new interns and 2 stinters raising support for this fall, pray they would all make it to the field! 
·  Tom and Tina Engstrom - Eau Claire (CRU) - Pray with us for Eliska to know and follow Jesus and that the Spirit would confirm his realness through the pages of Scripture.  And pray for Allison to continue to see prayer and financial partners join her team so that she can return to Prague as soon as possible. 
 ·  Jena Fast – Eau Claire (Athletes in Action)- For athletes to not fall into old habits as they are home for the summer but would instead draw close to Jesus. 
  ·  Jeff and Nancy Prior - Great Plains (Athletes in Action) -  Praise that both the Ultimate Training Camp and Colorado staff retreat went well.  Pray as we travel to attend the National Conference in Milwaukee. 
·  Logan and Lauren Koerten - Stevens Point (Intervarsity)-  We covet your prayers for future leaders to be raised up. And pray recent graduates to trust the Lord as they transition into a new season of their lives.  Pray for wisdom for our team as we discern how to most effectively and faithfully use our time in the fall based on the number of student leaders the Lord provides. For those in our chapter and on our campus who have yet to make an adult decision about Jesus, pray that our times in Matthew and Galatians would be fruitful, and that the Spirit would move in their hearts.  Pray that as students count the cost of following Jesus, that more would say "YES"!  And pray for courage for our student leaders as they invite students to place their faith in Jesus alone. 
Good News Global  - Pray that our ministry can connect the church community with the inmate community through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Pray that God directs chaplains and volunteers in bringing the message of the gospel in a way the incarcerated will understand.  Pray the "Thinking 2 Change" material brings change with those who attend the classes.   
·  Hope Gospel Mission - Pray for the additional volunteers needed.  Pray for work on new counseling and learning center.
·  APPLE Pregnancy Care Center - Pray for Interim Center Director McKenzie and APPLE staff. Pray the Lord would provide a permanent Center Director; that our clients would be served well by our staff and volunteers as we minister the love of God; and that the community would become increasingly aware of our services. 
·  WHEM Radio -pray as they reach people for Him through radio ministry.  Pray for the family of Harlan Reinders as they grieve.
·  Rescued & Redeemed - Pray for volunteers that are needed and provision for housing.   
·  Gideons - Pray as we distribute approximately 1,000 New Testaments and Psalms to fair-goers from our booth at the fair.
·  Undisclosed - Safety in travels and relief from pain. Friendships for the children and details regarding schooling.  Another couple:  transitions to "retirement".   All:  Pray for open doors for the Gospel. 
·  Operation Christmas Child  - Pray as preparations are happening to pack boxes.   Pray for the hearts that are being/will be given the Good News of the Gospel.
