APPLE Pregnancy Care Center "Aiding Problem Pregnancies with Love and Encouragement" APPLE is an educational and support ministry to women, men and families facing unplanned pregnancies offering life-affirming, compassionate counsel. Serving the Chippewa Valley for over 27 years is a part-time staff of five, a local Board of Directors, an affiliation with Care-Net, and approximately 30 volunteers who take care of office work, answering the hotline and see clients. A Smart Women Program is also part of this ministry. This is an 'Earn While You Learn' program. Clients come in to learn from a variety of topics about pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, finances, and cooking. The Life Skills they learn allow them to earn points that can be used to 'purchase' items such as diapers, cribs, car seats and clothing. Link to Apple

For more than 35 years WWIB has been servicing Western Wisconsin with adult contemporary Christian music, Christ-centered programming and news/weather/sports. The goal of WWIB is to reach out to the area with the Gospel each day.
In the local area WWIB can be heard at 103.7 FM. There are also translators in Marshfield (94.3FM), Wausau (94.3 FM), and in LaCrosse (93.7FM) which allow the programming to extend to southern Minnesota and Central Wisconsin.

The purpose of the Good News Jail and Prison Ministy is to meet the spiritual needs of both inmates and staff through pastoral attention, evangelism and discipleship while facilitating othere religious faiths within the guidelines established by law and the particular correctional facilites.
Presently up to 800 inmates are served per year in Eau Claire, Chippewa, Buffalo, Trempealeau and Pepin County jails as well as Northwest Regional Detention Center (a juvenile facility) in Eau Claire.
Biblical one-on-one counseling, weekly church services and Bible studies are offered for spiritual growth. Classes in anger management, cognitive renewal, addictions and apologetics are also offered. Also offered is a 224-lesson Bible correspondence course and inmates have the opportunity to work towards a 4-year degree from Shalom Bible College. A lending library of Bibles, Christian books and reading glasses is also available.
Volunteers to help with special events such as the spring banquet, golf outing, scoring Bible studies and correspondence with inmates are always welcome.
