Bruce and Carol are presently serving in Swaziland. In August of 2003, they were given the challenge to minister to the amaZioni churches. Most amaZioni churches combine Christianity with traditional African religious beliefs. To their amazement, the amaZioni readily welcomed the Brittens and were excited about having Saturday Bible classes. In 2004 the first class with 38 students began. In 2008 there were more than 300 students.
Bruce and Carol would like to begin the Bible classes in more towns so that the whole nation would be impacted. These towns have been requesting the teaching but more teachers are needed.
Pray that the students will understand the gospel, accept Christ and then share the gospel with those around them. Pray also for the churches that oppose the Bible teaching.
